What goes through the website visitor's mind?
September 23, 2020
Recently, as part of a short talk at eDAY, we showed how websites can be very differently perceived – depending on individual expectations, previous knowledge of the visitor, as well as the context in which the website is visited.
We all like to think we are logical people who control the decisions we make. To a certain extent, we do.
However, a lot of the cognitive processing takes place before we consciously direct our attention to something.
The same is true for websites.
Nina demonstrated, using concrete examples from our projects, how visitors’ perception is formed and how user research helps ensure a better user experience and achieve better business results.
